What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Bather position at Pampered Paws?
Duties:
- Bathe pets, including dogs and cats, according to client specifications
- Handle and restrain animals as necessary during grooming procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff
Skills:
- Experience working in a kennel or pet grooming environment is preferred
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Strong animal care skills and understanding of animal behavior
- Ability to handle animals with patience, care, and compassion
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or grooming equipment
- Experience in dog training is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
