About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day order processing for our e-commerce and retail business.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working across teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. This role will also respond to customer inquiries related to order status, identify and resolve order issues, and provide regular order reporting to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor customer orders from receipt through shipment.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped within required timelines.
- Monitor open and delayed orders and follow up with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, shipment, and delivery.
- Identify and correct order errors, discrepancies, and exceptions.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and other internal teams to resolve order-related issues.
- Track order status and proactively escalate delays or recurring problems.
- Prepare and analyze order reports for leadership, including open orders, order aging, shipments, and order performance.
- Maintain accurate order information and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve order-processing efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in order processing, e-commerce operations, customer service, retail operations, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
