- Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Restrain animals safely using appropriate techniques to facilitate grooming procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care needs.
- Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training, pet sitting, or basic veterinary support when needed.
- Support team members with kennel duties or animal handling tasks that promote overall animal well-being.
Skills
- Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals of different temperaments confidently.
- Experience in pet grooming techniques for a variety of breeds and sizes.
- Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming and handling.
