We're Hiring! Full-Time Shift Leader – Doggie Daycare & Boarding
Do you have experience working with dogs and enjoy leading a team? We're looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Full-Time Shift Leader to help oversee the daily operations of our doggie daycare and boarding facility.
As a Shift Leader, you'll ensure the safety and well-being of our canine guests while supporting staff and maintaining a positive, efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daycare and boarding staff during assigned shifts.
- Monitor dog playgroups to ensure safe and appropriate behavior.
- Provide excellent care for dogs, including feeding, administering medications (if trained), cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Train, coach, and support team members.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations and any concerns.
- Ensure all cleaning, sanitation, and safety standards are met.
- Deliver outstanding customer service when interacting with pet parents.
- Work weekends & Holidays
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, kennel, veterinary, or animal care setting is required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Passion for animal care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
