What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Pampas Las Vegas?

Our goal is to provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests!
Duties & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a bartender who loves all aspects of the craft and is excited to learn and prepare the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes, with the appropriate garnishes and presentation. They should also be able to make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages. Communication is a trait we hold in high regard here at Pampas, as we believe it is one of the primary pillars in serving our guests and in working as a team!
Pampas’ bartenders should take pride in a meticulously organized and accessible station of bottles and glasses to support efficient drink preparation. One must also be aware of what items need to be replenished, restocked, or given service in the bar’s inventory.
Here at Pampas, cleanliness is a priority, and as such, bartenders must maintain the cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, glassware, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
Once trained, and fully comfortable in their position, bartenders have the opportunity to have guests seated at the bar countertop for full dining service.
Bartenders report to Managers for any questions, concerns, or additional tasks.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be at least 21 years of age and possess state-required certification to serve alcohol. They must possess, or obtain prior to start date, Health and Alcohol Safety cards. Candidates should have a working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes from previous experience serving alcohol. They must be able to comfortably reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. They also should be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Pay: $8.75 - $15.00 per hour
