Parts Coordinator

PAM Transport is looking to add a Parts Coordinator to join our Charlotte shop! The Parts Coordinator performs a wide range or duties that include managing inventory for offsite locations and providing support for the corporate parts team.

This full time position offers:

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Purchasing and Receiving stock orders into the parts system.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Manage tire inventory, orders, shipping and receiving.
• Ship parts both internally and externally.
• Maintain proper inventory of parts.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and quarterly physical inventory.
• Responsible for all warranty parts, recovery from unit and shipping to suppliers.
• Process part cores for returns.
• Issue parts from inventory to work orders.
• Ensures that work is completed within established time frames and standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint necessary.
• Parts or inventory control experience would be preferred.
• Must be able to multi task and prioritize to complete daily tasks and impromptu requests.
• Experience in truck/trailer parts is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Accepts responsibility and meets expectations for own work.
• Follows company policies and procedures

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Enter and locate information on computer or system communication device.
• Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight.
• Move up and down a ladder or stairs.
• Move, lift, carry, and place parts and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Walk within work area for extended periods of time.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
