PALS, Inc. is a dedicated adult Day Program providing services to individuals with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. With offices across Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties, we are deeply committed to empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
We are currently seeking a Program Administrator to oversee front office operations at our Downey location. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with—or a willingness to learn—electronic database and records management systems such as BambooHR.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining management experience within the social services field. In addition to the duties outlined in this description, the selected candidate may be assigned other job-related responsibilities as needed to support program operations.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience.
- One (1) year of experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to learn and use electronic records management systems.
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain communication with staff, participants, and outside providers.
- Manage payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and time-off records.
- Organize and maintain staff, participant, and program documentation.
- Track participant attendance and Special Incident Reports (SIRs).
- Process new hire paperwork and maintain personnel files.
- Assist with program funds, inventory, and administrative reporting.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide front office support.
- Assist with Direct Support Professional (DSP) duties when needed.
