Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Commercial Laundromat Driver to join our team. This role involves the safe and timely pickup and delivery of laundry and linen between our laundromat facility and commercial clients, such as hotels and Spas. The ideal candidate is dependable, has excellent route-driving skills, and provides outstanding customer service while maintaining our standards of cleanliness, care, and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles (typically 5 ton box trucks) to transport laundered and soiled linens between the laundromat and client locations.
- Load and unload laundry carts, bags, or bins safely and efficiently.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure all items are properly secured for transport and handled with care to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and service confirmations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times with courteous and customer-focused service.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and laundry facility staff regarding scheduling, route issues, or client concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required but preferred).
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, route driver, or in a similar role is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy laundry bags, carts, or bins (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent driving record and familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in handling client-specific orders or delivery instructions.
- Punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently.
