We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Patient Scheduler to join our growing medical practice! This role is critical to patient flow, provide efficiency and overall patient experience.
Requirements
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Schedule new and established patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Communicate regularly with case managers, attorneys and insurance adjusters
- Verify insurance, referrals, authorizations and claim information
- Coordinate provider schedules and procedure availability
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointment details and expectations
- Answer high-volume calls while providing excellent customer service.
- Other tasks as requested by management
Qualifications
- Medical office scheduling experience preferred
- Experience with PI and/or Workers' compensations preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
