We are seeking experienced Emergency Room RNs to join our Emergency Department.
Location: Blythe, California
Position Type: Per-Diem
Shift Availability: Variable (Days/Nights/Weekends)
Night Shift Differential: Earn an additional $3.50 per hour for all hours worked between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
The emergency room RN utilizes the nursing process to identify and prioritize patient needs based on the severity of the patient's presenting signs, symptoms, medical and health condition. Reassessment is carried out in response to interventions including health teaching and patient response to learning.
The emergency room RN is expected to promote the mission, vision and values of the organization and comply with standards established in the Nurse Practice Act for the State of California and the standards for maintaining patient safety, which includes consistently meeting state and federal standards. The ED RN is expected to consistently implement strategies and activities designed to promote a positive patient experience and to achieve a Culture of Safety within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of California
Valid CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Emergency Room nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN in Nursing
Membership in the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
