The Director of OutpatientServices is a key member of the Palo Verde leadership team who supervises social work staff and ensures that in-services and trainings are provided on a regular basis, develops and analyzes the effectiveness of programming. Ensures all Performance Improvement standards are monitored and feedback given to appropriate staff. Coordinates student intern placements. Assists in the hiring and evaluation of social work staff. Interfaces with staff at all levels.
Directly supervises IOP, inpatient Social Services, and recreational employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in social, behavioral, or mental health services field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners as an LPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a program director or higher-level position.
- Experience with overseeing services in an outpatient environment, preferably in mental health. Telehealth experience is advantageous.
- Prior supervisory experience.
