Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, dining space, and kitchen environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage register operations with basic math skills
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Familiarity with POS systems POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
