Principal Risk Specialist (Operational Risk Challenge & Advisory)
Location: McLean, VA /Richmond, VA / Reston, VA
Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
Contract: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Line Risk Management challenge and advisory support.
- Review and assess RCSA, PLA, PRA, and other risk assessment processes.
- Analyze risk and control data to identify operational risks, gaps, and remediation plans.
- Partner with Business Risk Offices (BRO), Independent Risk Management (IRM), Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on operational risk and control standards.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience with RCSA, PLA, PRA, and Operational Risk frameworks.
- Strong risk analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and risk/control standards.
- Advanced Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Tableau skills.
Preferred Skills
- Master''s Degree.
- 3 years of Risk Management/Audit experience.
- Process Management experience.
- Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or PMP.
