Role - Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: Merrimack, NH Or Smithfield, RI Or Durham, NC - Hybrid
Fulltime Role
Skills:
- Programming with Java
- UI testing with Selenium
- API testing with Rest Assured, Karate, or Swagger
- Ability to write SQL queries
The Expertise You Bring
- BS or above in Computer Science or related field
- 4 years of professional Testing/Development experience involving Database testing and API Automation
- Verifiable experience building and maintaining an automation framework in a large enterprise environment
- Expertise with using Java with Cucumber/BDD
- Ability to thrive in an Agile Scrum environment with a belief in the value of T-shaped squad members
- Ability to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies
- Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus
- Must have ability to create and modify complex SQL queries
- Must have experience with API automation – Rest Assured, Postman
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization
- Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve team goals
- A desire and curiosity about learning innovative technologies
- Your previous experience using business requirements to craft, develop and maintain test plans, test cases
- Review and analyze client-specific system requirements and scope of services; Analyze functional and technical system design for testability.
- Collaborate with project team to understand and prioritize system testing efforts; Mine and manipulate data to build test data and test cases for multiple or sophisticated projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles using Jenkins and Git and can make recommendations on how to best include test automation into pipelines
- Work as part of team of SDET’s passionate about automation and build reusable artifacts
- A learning demeanor to your work and are eager to master and adopt new technologies
