Produce Associate – Grocery Outlet Palmyra
Grocery Outlet Palmyra is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and fast-paced Produce Associate to join our team! We are searching for someone who enjoys staying busy, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping a produce department fresh, full, and customer-ready at all times.
This position requires early mornings, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment while providing friendly customer service.
Schedule
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Monday: 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: OFF
- Thursday: 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Friday: OFF
- Saturday: 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Stock and rotate fresh produce products
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked displays
- Cull damaged or outdated products
- Assist with unloading/downstacking produce deliveries
- Build displays and keep the department visually appealing
- Help customers locate items and provide friendly service
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently in both cooler and sales floor environments
- Assist in other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be able to work the required schedule consistently
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in cool temperatures for extended periods
- Must work with urgency and maintain a positive attitude
- Grocery or produce experience preferred, but not required
- Facing and recovering the store throughout the day, after produce is done.
- Creating and replacing shelf tags and signs as needed.
- Making sure products are neat, organized, and in the correct location.
- Filling empty spots from backstock when needed.
- Helping maintain a clean, inviting shopping experience.
- Assisting in other areas of the store as needed.
