We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Adult Program Coordinator to join our team!
About the Role:
As the Adult Program Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of educational, cultural, and social programs tailored primarily to an adult audience. From author talks and workshops to art exhibits and community events, you’ll help enrich lives and strengthen community ties through engaging library programming.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and implementing diverse adult programs aligned with the library’s mission and strategic goals
- Collaborating with staff and community partners on events like the Farmers’ Market, Harvest on the Canal Art Show and Small Business Saturday
- Promoting programs through social media, print materials, and the library website
- Assisting with scheduling 3rd-floor art gallery exhibits
- Providing monthly program reports and occasional support at the circulation desk
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- Experience in a public library or similar community-based setting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Canva and MailChimp (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.93 - $17.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
