Middle School 8th Grade Mathematics Teacher (Anticipated)

This is an anticipated full-time professional (teacher's contract) PASD position which will begin on or before February 16, 2025.

Job Overview:
The successful candidate will provide instruction to 8th grade students in mathematics while utilizing instructional strategies to ensure high student engagement and rigor that creates a strong learning culture. This mathematics position teaches Algebra I and Pre-Algebra.

Qualifications:

• Instructional I/II in Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6), Mathematics 4-8, or Mathematics 7-12 preferred.
• A teaching certification in PA is required; if an emergency certification is needed the successful applicant must be able to gain required certifications within two (2) years.
• Must be efficient in utilizing technology effectively using a learning management platform.
