Today we seek a Maintenance Technician for The Islands property, a community of 320 apartment homes in Charleston, SC. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the property through the repair and maintenance of buildings and support equipment. The qualified applicant must have 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential or commercial HVAC systems. Applicants who lack this hands-on experience will not be considered for this position.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ EPA Certified – Required certification for handling refrigerants.
✔ HVAC Expertise – Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, including heat pumps.
✔ General Maintenance Skills – Plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and more.
✔ Problem-Solving Mindset – A go-getter who takes initiative.
✔ Team Player – Works collaboratively with a passionate, skilled crew.
✔ Technology Savvy – Able to use MS Office 365 platforms and operate a mobile device.
✔ Excellent Communicator – Proficient in English, both written and verbal; bilingual is a plus!
