What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tile Showroom Sales & Design Consultant position at Palmetto Tile Distributors?
Palmetto Tile Distributors is hiring a motivated, customer-focused Tile Showroom Sales & Design Consultant to join our North Charleston showroom.
This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for design, and can confidently manage their own workload while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

What you'll do:
• Guide clients through the tile selection process
• Build relationships with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and contractors
• Prepare quotes and manage projects from selection to sale
• Stay current on design trends and premium tile products
• Help maintain an organized, beautiful showroom
We're looking for someone who is:
• Self-motivated and able to manage their time and priorities independently
• Friendly, organized, and detail-oriented
• Passionate about design and customer service
• A strong communicator and team player
• Comfortable working in an active showroom environment, including being on your feet throughout the day, lifting and moving heavy tile samples, and helping keep the showroom organized and presentation-ready
Sales, design, or customer service experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
