We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Roofing Service and Repair Technician to join our energetic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing commercial roofing systems to ensure durability, safety, and performance. Duties
Identify issues such as leaks, damage, or deterioration and develop effective repair strategies aligned with industry standards.
Utilize construction estimating skills to assess materials needed and complete job cost evaluations.
Conduct restoration work including caulking, flashing repairs, and other related tasks to restore roof integrity.
Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for material handling and installation tasks on construction sites.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work.
Document work performed through detailed reports and communicate progress effectively with supervisors and clients.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.
Possesses time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines
Strong knowledge of roofing systems combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes for materials and labor costs.
Skilled in fabrication techniques including metal working or concrete forming when necessary.
Experience in restoration projects involving caulking, flashing repairs or stucco application is preferred.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely, withstand extensive bending, kneeling and walking in all types of weather for 8 hours per day while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites including OSHA regulations is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site.
