JOB PURPOSE |
The Assembly / Test Fire Technician will be responsible for the assembly of various parts and components of pistols including slides and grips. The position will require a close working relationship with inventory and Assembly lead to notify of any problems or defects in the materials while also working alongside other assembly techs to ensure quality & production is being met. This position will also be responsible for test firing the pistols to ensure proper function is being maintained before the pistols ship.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain Personal Protective Equipment.
- Adhere to all Quality System Standards.
- Assembly of the pistol slide.
- Assembly of the pistol grip.
- Ensures the proper assembly parts are being used with each order.
- Test fire of the assembled pistol.
- Other assigned job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS |
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to read product orders and recognize the proper components for handgun build.
- Ability to properly use basic hand tools.
- Excellent communication and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Patience, Persistence, and problem-solving skills are very important.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A career driven attitude with a desire to grow with the company.
- Ability to follow Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Ability to assemble components of a handgun preferred.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency when firing a handgun.
WORKING CONDITIONS |
Work is performed in an operational manufacturing warehouse environment and in a shooting range. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing, using hand and power tools, as well as handing paperwork. Team members will be lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or less regularly.
