Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS or OpenTable.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is advantageous.
- Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and sales techniques.
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
