Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify and project costs for various jobs

• Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials and negotiate pricing

• Visit various jobs sites to analyze required work

• Determine the scope of work to bid

• Prepare bid packages

• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

• Communicate frequently with division managers about current and future projects

Requirements of the Position

• Experience with Agtek, B2W and Carlson software

• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and convey this information to others

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to communicate and report effectively

• Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
