Part-Time Assistant Teacher (12 PM–5:30 PM) | No Nights or Weekends | Carolina Forest

Palmetto Preschool is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our Carolina Forest team. This afternoon position is perfect for someone who loves working with children and wants a consistent schedule that leaves mornings free.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
No nights or weekends, however this IS NOT a seasonal position- must be able to work year round.

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll work alongside experienced educators and become part of a team that values relationships, teamwork, and continuous growth.

What You'll Do:

• Support classroom teachers with daily activities and routines
• Interact positively with children throughout the day
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Assist with playground supervision, transitions, and end-of-day activities
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience in childcare is preferred, but not required
• Must meet all state licensing requirements
