Palmetto Pain Management is an interventional pain management practice seeking a dedicated RCM Coordinator to join our team. Our 12-provider practice provides conservative and interventional pain, regenerative medicine, and other outpatient treatment services to 100 patients per day. Our busy facility is known for its friendly, outgoing, and professional staff.
Our ideal candidate is a driven, detail-oriented, task-focused professional who combines excellent communication skills with strong organizational ability, logical thinking, and follow-through. This role supports many aspects of practice operations, with a particular focus on revenue cycle management and related administrative support services. You should be comfortable working across a wide variety of responsibilities, managing competing priorities, and helping ensure that the practice runs efficiently behind the scenes.

Major Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Supporting practice operations through a wide range of administrative and back-end support services
- Assisting with all aspects of revenue cycle management, especially:
- Charge entry
- Charge confirmation
- Charge management
- Charge auditing
- Denials follow-up and resolution
- Responding to patient billing and account questions
- Verifying routers and helping ensure accurate workflow completion
- Processing medical records requests
- Scanning and indexing charts, mail, EOBs, and other documentation
- Working backend denials and other claim-related issues
- Maintaining and updating the practice allowables schedule database
- Performing data entry and helping maintain accurate records
- Supporting team members and filling in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Identifying problems, improving processes, and helping ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
