What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Palmetto Isotopes LLC?
Nuclear pharmacist is responsible for practices in preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals.
Additional Responsibilities:
- compliance with all regulations, Company Policies, and Safety for all staff.
- Accurately set up and compound radiopharmaceuticals.
- Manages staff under companies Policy and Procedures.
- Handle, package and deliver radiopharmaceuticals and hazardous materials in compliance with Company Policies.
- Perform quality control tests on prepared products to ensure all quality requirements have been met.
- Supervise and/or perform radiation wipes and surveys on shipping containers, pharmacy supplies, incoming packages, work spaces and vehicles.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by completing required training, providing suggestions for improving the health and safety program and bringing unsafe acts and/or conditions to the attention of management.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and/or a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy
- Work on an on-call basis, weekends and holidays
- Ability to accommodate shift changes
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
- Has the ability to handle multiple tasks quickly
- Ability to get along with others
- Adheres to legal and regulatory guidelines without question
- Makes compliance a priority
- Ability to motivate employees and ensure engagement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
