Impact & Responsibilities: As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you are the heartbeat of our client relationships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor for diverse businesses, ensuring their operations are protected and their questions are answered.

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, managing their P&C needs with a personal touch.
  • Market & Quote: Navigate renewals and new business by marketing accounts to our carrier partners to find the best tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with carriers to deliver comprehensive coverage options that give our clients peace of mind.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain organized accounts and documentation within our agency management system with high attention to detail.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

The Fundamentals:

  • Experience: 3 years of Commercial Account Management experience (or 5 years in the broader insurance industry).
  • Licensing: Active South Carolina Property & Casualty license is required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Applied EPIC is highly preferred (or similar agency management systems), along with Microsoft Office.

The Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of commercial underwriting, coverage types, and rate analysis.
  • The ability to translate "insurance-speak" into clear, actionable advice for clients.
  • Top-tier organization skills—you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can pivot between tasks with ease.
