Impact & Responsibilities: As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you are the heartbeat of our client relationships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor for diverse businesses, ensuring their operations are protected and their questions are answered.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, managing their P&C needs with a personal touch.
- Market & Quote: Navigate renewals and new business by marketing accounts to our carrier partners to find the best tailored solutions.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with carriers to deliver comprehensive coverage options that give our clients peace of mind.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain organized accounts and documentation within our agency management system with high attention to detail.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
The Fundamentals:
- Experience: 3 years of Commercial Account Management experience (or 5 years in the broader insurance industry).
- Licensing: Active South Carolina Property & Casualty license is required.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Applied EPIC is highly preferred (or similar agency management systems), along with Microsoft Office.
The Skills:
- Deep knowledge of commercial underwriting, coverage types, and rate analysis.
- The ability to translate "insurance-speak" into clear, actionable advice for clients.
