About the Role:
Responsible for company-wide nurse education, including nurse orientation and competency evaluations, annual nurse competencies, infusion education, BLS certifications, and other on-going education and in-services as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Service Areas: All home IV locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
- CRNI within 3 years of job acceptance; BLS Instructor Certification.
- 3 years experience in the home and/or in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy and/or nurse educator experience.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
- Develops an orientation plan for nurses and coordinates the educational plan with Nurse Managers.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills in handling interactions with Palmetto Infusion staff, other agencies, patients, and families.
- Conducts annual competency skill evaluations as well as competency skill evaluations of new nurses.
- Provides Basic Life Support education for Palmetto infusion staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of INS Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Provides effective communication so all staff are aware of current and future practices/ patient procedures at Palmetto Infusion.
- Coordinates/provides education for all nursing staff related to new drug therapies, supplies, and equipment.
