What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Floater position at Palmetto Early Learning Center?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teachers in implementing daily activities and lessons for children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Provide care and support to toddlers and preschool-aged children
-Cover lunch breaks in classrooms.
-Must be comfortable changing diapers/pull ups
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Support children with autism or other special needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment
-Cover call outs/teacher schedule time off.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- Familiarity with curriculum development for young children
- Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and staff members
Please be available Monday-Friday 7:00-5:30 occasional full 8 hour shifts are requested.

This Floater/Assistant Teacher position shift hours is Monday-Friday 12:00pm -5:30pm unless you are asked to cover a different shift for the day.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
