Pay: $17–$23 per hour (based on experience)

Palmetto Broncos is an automotive upholstery studio located in Taylors, SC specializing in premium interiors and interior kits for classic cars and trucks, with a focus on 1966–1977 Ford Broncos.
We are a small but growing team committed to producing high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining a respectful and positive work environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Automotive Upholstery Prep / Assistant to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone with sewing experience who wants to grow into a skilled automotive upholsterer. Prior upholstery experience is not required, but applicants should have a strong sewing background and attention to detail.
The right candidate will start by assisting with prep work and material preparation while learning the upholstery trade. Our goal is for this person to grow into a competent upholsterer within 1–2 years as the company continues to expand.

Technical Skills
- Sewing experience (4 years preferred)
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately
Responsibilities
- Cut patterns from leather, vinyl, carpet, and other materials
- Sew sew-foam to leather and prepare materials for final assembly
- Cut and install sound deadening and insulation
- Receive and organize materials and supplies
- Prep items for upholstery including disassembly and cleaning
- Assist upholsterers with various projects and tasks
