What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter Apprentice, Carpenter or Lead Carpenter position at Palmer Innovative Construction?
Who we are:
Palmer Innovative Construction is a small but growing company located in south eastern NH, looking for hard working passionate carpenters to join our team to take part in our already scheduled work in northern mass and southern NH.
We are booked solid with work through winter and beyond, but need experienced carpenters to put forth their best effort to please our customers. We are a methodical company that prides ourselves on quality work not how fast we get something done. Owned and operated by a young carpenter we are flexible with hrs and know when family issues or doctors appointments arise, we also allow overtime to make sure everyone's getting the hrs they are looking for.
Projects we take on:
Mostly kitchen and bath residential remodels. As a general contractor we do sub contract many aspects of the remodels.
Who we are looking for:
Carpenter apprentice >1.5 years experience Carpenter with > 3 years experience or Lead Carpenter with > 6 years experience able to lead a job. Someone with basic hand tools to build, fit, scribe and install are required.
Duties will included but limited to are; Kitchen cabinet installation, wall and ceiling framing, window and door install, finish trim installation ect.
Depending on skill level and experience. There may also be an opportunity for you to have an Palmer Innovative work van. You must have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license to start.
Smart phone and technology knowledge a bonus but not required. (many our our systems are cloud based)
What we provide:
Bi-weekly paychecks with taxes taken out. This is not a 1099 position.
6 paid Holidays days
Pay is negotiable and based on experience
