This role manages power distribution, cooling, equipment deployment, inventories, lifecycle management, and maintenance while implementing infrastructure management solutions to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, visibility, and capacity planning. What you will do:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure and systems with a focus on security, performance optimization, and continuous monitoring
- Act as primary escalation point for complex data center issues; provide on-call support, ensuring 24/7 system availability and reliability
- Maintain high levels of security, availability, performance, and scalability in infrastructure operations
- Establish and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Oversee installation of hardware components; ensure service orders are completed promptly and accurately
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a global team of highly skilled employees and contingent workers
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years managing large-scale data center services
- 5 years in DC Operations, IT Operations, or similar roles
- Experience supporting large, enterprise-level data centers
