Student Employment Opportunity: Student Affairs Assistant
**This position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.
Function:
To assist the Student Administrative Services Offices with general clerical and front desk support. The work-study position also supports work in confidential and sensitive records and clerical support services related to the operations of the Registrar and Financial Aid Offices.
Organizational Relationship:
Primary supervisor is the Front Desk Administrative Assistant reporting to the Registrar's Office.
General Qualifications:

Ability to work in and maintain all sensitive information and paperwork in a confidential manner.

Ability to assist students and visitors at the front desk in a cordial manner

Ability to use office equipment
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in obtaining correct student information or documents.
- Assist student and alumni at the counter filling out various request forms.
- Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages if staff member is in meeting or out of the area.
- Help with the registration process as needed (collecting or handing out registration information).
- Assist with disseminating information/forms to students as needed.
- Perform data entry into various documents and software programs.
- Aid in the completion of any special projects as assigned.
- Take various forms of payment for a variety of billing.
- Direct students and personnel for new/replacement badges, payments.
- Assist with student portal and the Palmer website for locating forms.
- Copy various documents brought into the office
- Maintain lost and found.
- Process parking tickets.
- Disperse student loan checks.
- Parking stickers and forms for new vehicles.
- Fitness center guest forms/badges.
- Hand out correct academic forms for students to complete.
Evaluated Procedures and Schedules:
- 10 hours a week
- Evaluated on abilities to maintain strict confidentiality related to student records content and duties
- Evaluated on abilities to accurately and without errors support student academic recordkeeping, delivery services and other front desk duties related to student and academic support.
