Position Summary
The Human Resources Administrator provides essential administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling a variety of clerical and Team Member-facing responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR Team
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist Team Members, candidates, and visitors
- Provide Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translation support for Team Members and leadership, including during day-to-day interactions and company-wide meetings to ensure clear communication and understanding
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including making copies, scanning, and filing documents
- Maintain and organize Team Member records and HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments
- Meet with or locate Team Members as needed, including on the production floor
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive Team Member information
- Perform general office duties and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
Preferred
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred
Required
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and discretion
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office setting with frequent interactions with Team Members and visitors
- Manufacturing environment exposure, including noise, varying temperatures, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the floor
- Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and responsiveness
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and copying
- Occasionally lift or move office supplies (up to 20 lbs)
- Ability to walk and stand for periods of time when accessing the manufacturing floor
- Ability to use stairs to access certain areas of the plant
