Palmen Auto Stores are looking for a driven, high-energy Automotive General Sales Manager with fast track potential to a General Manager position who knows how to build a team, move inventory, and close deals. What You'll Do
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed sales targets
- Manage all facets of variable operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction across new cars, used cars and F&I
- Hold sales staff accountable for activity, followup, and CRM usage
- Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent
- Monitor and manage the lead pipeline and internet opportunities to drive showroom traffic
- Work closely with finance managers to ensure clean, efficient deal structure
- Maintain strong new and used inventory awareness and merchandising strategy
- Create a fast-paced, competitive sales culture focused on winning
- Ensure outstanding customer experience while delivering strong results
- Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
What We're Looking For
- Proven automotive sales management experience
- Strong closing and negotiation skills
- A track record of hitting and beating sales goals
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
- Experience desking deals, submitting deals to banks and maximizing gross profit
- Strong CRM discipline and follow-up process
- Someone who leads by example on the sales floor
