Registered Nurse (Home Health) -Per Diem

Employment Type: Per Diem

As a Per Diem Palmeira Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse, you can expect:

• Competitive, bi-weekly: per visit rate
• FULL IRS Mileage Reimbursement: of $0.70 per mile
• New Hire training: for 1-3 days

Location: Las Vegas (travel required to patient homes)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for traveling to a patient’s home to administer their services and helping patients maintain their independence. Their duties include administering at-home IVs, changing dressings, cleaning wounds and updating Doctors about their patient’s health.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home health setting
• Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes
• Negative TB test and flu shot (within the last 12 months)
• COVID-19, Hepatitis B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella vaccinations

Others:

• Must be willing to drive and provide care in the patients’ places of residence
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must have no health restrictions that impede provision of care to the patient
