What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at Palmdale Women's Health Physician Group, Inc?
We are seeking a Part time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our caring team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of our new OB/GYN medical clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat OB and GYN in office and surgical consults
- Examination of patients for contraceptive services
- Insert Nexplanon, Skyla, Mirena, Paraguard IUD's. (training can be provided to right candidate)
- Knowledge of Family Pact program helpful
- Many other procedures performed in office
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other physician assistant role
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Must have current licenses/DEA
- Must be able to work independently
