Duties:
- Provide primary care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents.
- Conduct physical examinations and perform medical assessments to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
- Order vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of California
- DEA number
- Proven experience working in a medical office or pediatric setting.
- knowledge of pediatric care guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent clinical skills, including physical examination and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to children of all ages.
- Proficient in medical software systems for documentation and record keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
