Job Summary
We are seeking a Check-Out to join our team! As a Check-Out, you will be responsible for scheduling patient's injections/procedures and/or follow-up appointments, faxing prescriptions for compounding pharmacies, and scanning documents into patient's chart appropriately. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is very organized, detail-oriented, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
- schedule injections/procedures following global periods
- schedule follow-up appointments per check-out logs
- fax prescriptions to specialty pharmacies
- scan documents into the patient's chart
- request medical records on behalf of our patients
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
- Previous office experience desired
