Applications WILL NOT be considered without the following requirements (this includes current PSUSD employees): (1) Attach proof of high school graduation (HS diploma, HS transcripts, or GED) with application. *College degrees will not be accepted in lieu of high school completion. (2) Completion of the Target Success Sketch questionnaire is required when filling out your application. It is part of the Edjoin application process. An application without the Target Sketch questionnaire completed will not move forward for consideration in the recruitment. SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Principal, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in an assigned classroom; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of intervention plans, behavior plans, learning strategies and goal strategies; work independently with identified students in the classroom teacher; administer and score tests and assessments; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel. **Please click on the link above to print/view COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent to graduation from high school; one (1) year of experience in assisting teachers in a classroom, such as Paraprofessional in the District, supplemented by college level units in education.
