SUMMARY: Under general direction of a Certified Occupational Therapist and supervision of District Occupational Therapists, assists in providing direct services to assist students with mental, physical, developmental or emotional disabilities that impact their educational performance; monitors the use of assistive technology devices and systems; assists in the procurement, preparation and maintenance of materials and supplies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from High School and one (1) year of experience providing direct therapy to individuals in need of occupational therapy in a clinical or educational setting and/or possession of certified license in occupational therapy, or graduation from a certified occupational therapist assistant certificate program. Additional experience working with children (ages three to twenty-one) is desirable. **Please click on the link above to print/view COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION.** CPR and First Aid certification are required within 30 days of hire.
