Role Description This full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role is based at the Palm Medical Centers location in Davenport, FL. The Medical Assistant will support clinical operations by preparing patients for examinations, recording vital signs, assisting providers with procedures, and ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked and sanitized. Daily responsibilities include updating electronic medical records, managing patient flow, coordinating follow-up appointments, and supporting front-desk functions as needed. The role also involves patient education on basic health topics, reinforcing care plans, and providing courteous, respectful communication to ensure a positive patient experience. The Medical Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians, care coaches, and other team members to deliver high-quality senior primary care.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including vital signs measurement, clinical procedure support, and patient preparation for exams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document patient information and provider instructions.
- Candidates should possess Medical Office skills, such as scheduling, handling phone calls, and coordinating patient flow in a busy clinical setting.
