What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coconuts Sales Clerk position at Palm Island Resort?
Duties and Competencies: Retail, Ice cream sales & Rentals
· Learns and complies, and keeps up to date on all Palm Island Resort and departmental policies and procedures. (See Employee Handbook)
· Provides guests and owners the highest level of individualized, gracious, and professional retail service.
· Promotes positive image and pride in the resort and its services.
· Provides guests a thorough knowledge of the merchandise and pricing.
· Maintaining a clean and organized environment.
· Understanding and knowledge of Resort layout including information about the restaurants, outlets, services, area attractions, etc.
· Treat guests, owners and guests of owners equally & fairly.
· Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy Resort activity.
· Promote retail sales in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
· Accurately maintains and balance cash bank at the end of each shift.
· Participates in monthly inventory as directed by the retail manager.
· Comply with department uniform standards.
· Adheres to assigned work schedule and is flexible according to business needs.
· Able to work independently and as a team.
· Maintains good personal hygiene.
· Perform other duties as assigned and assist other departments as needed.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Technical Standards:
· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Good mathematical skills.
· Must be able to safely operate a moving vehicle. Specifically, an extended sized electric powered golf cart with guests and luggage.
