Position Summary
The Medical Technician (Med Tech) is responsible for assisting PALM Health members receive medical and wellness services. These services may include, but are not limited to, Biofeedback, Low-Level Laser, and Neurofeedback. The Med Tech will be responsible for securing informed consent prior to services, explaining the benefits of the service to be administered, monitoring client progress, and providing explanations of treatments as well as instructions for after-visit care, when applicable. The Med Tech is also cross-trained in administering the Vitality Services, including Cryotherapy, Halotherapy, Sauna Suites, Biomat, Pemf Mat, and Sound Focus, allowing for a robust and well-rounded education in a number of services critical to the wellness industry. Lastly, the Medtech will assist the Health Club team, as needed, helping to ensure a clean and safe environment, through excellent customer service and care.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree (required); Bachelors Degree (preferred)
- Experience in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, as a Physical Therapy Assistant, or similar experience (preferred)
- Minimum one years experience working in a medical or similar field (required)
