Overview
The Recreation Leader plans, organizes, and implements recreational activities and programs for individuals and groups, fostering physical, mental, and social well-being. Duties include designing age-appropriate and engaging events, preparing and distributing program and event publicity, and managing contracted instructors.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programming that promotes physical activity, social interaction, and personal development.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve participant engagement.
- Manage Contracted instructors
- Operative Recreation Software
Experience and Education
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Crowd Management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and adults.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of scheduling, rules and equipment used in sports programming
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.60 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
