Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team on night shift. Hours available are 6 pm to 6 am or 10 pm to 6 am. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Support patients with mobility needs including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols.
- Engage in specialized care in settings such as hospice care, behavioral health units, or pediatrics.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively.
Experience
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems is a plus.
- Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or hospice care is beneficial.
