About the Restaurant
Palm Beach Lobsters & Seafood is a new, family-oriented, owner-operated seafood restaurant offering a laid-back, casual dining experience built around fresh seafood and genuine hospitality. We are a neighborhood-focused restaurant with a growing base of loyal, repeat guests, and we value professionalism, consistency, and teamwork.
While the concept is relaxed, we run a tight, respectful operation and are looking for team members who take pride in their work and understand the importance of professionalism.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, professional Server who is comfortable working longer shifts and doubles (11 AM–9 PM).
At this time, doubles are essential due to current staffing and business needs.
Our primary staffing need is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Additional shifts on other days may become available as the business continues to grow. Full Tuesday–Sunday availability is not required initially.

Schedule & Availability
- Doubles currently essential: 11 AM–9 PM (Tuesday through Saturday)
- Sunday shift: 12 PM–7 PM
- Primary staffing needs: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Additional shifts available based on performance, availability, and business needs
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts during events and catering
Compensation & Tips
Hourly base pay plus pooled credit card tips. Cash tips are retained by the server.
Average total earnings of $23–30 per hour, depending on volume and shifts worked
Tip pooling promotes teamwork and more consistent earnings

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders accurately using a POS system
- Deliver a high level of service throughout the dining experience
- Independently manage up to a 9-table, approximately 40-seat dining room with runner support during busier hours
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, seafood offerings, and overall concept
- Answer guest questions and confidently explain menu items and preparations
- Build rapport with guests and contribute to a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with runners, kitchen staff, and teammates
- Handle payments accurately and professionally through the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
- Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
- Uphold service standards and contribute to a positive guest experience
Professional Standards & Requirements
- Must have prior experience using POS systems, such as Toast
- Serving experience required, especially in higher-volume environments
- While the concept is laid-back and casual, servers must maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and positive attitude
- Be willing to learn the restaurant concept, menu, and standards inside and out
- Be punctual, reliable, and prepared for long shifts
- Be a strong communicator who works well with others
- Maintain professionalism at work and keep personal matters outside of the workplace
- Stay organized, composed, and focused during service
- Follow food safety and alcohol service guidelines
- Be a team player willing to help when needed
