Palm Beach Equine Clinic Imaging Department is seeking an Equine Diagnostic Imaging Technician in Wellington, Florida.
- Qualified applicants must be highly experienced and knowledgeable in horse care with great attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team.
The duties will be to assist in the various diagnostic scan labs. Must be able to physically position the horses during MRIs, Bone Scans, and CT Scans. Care of the imaging horses before and after scanning, including stalls, grooming, and feeding as well as injections. Applicant must have flexible start and end times.
Experience with young horses, racehorses, and stallions preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Punctual, hard-working, and professional
- Communication and teamwork are essential
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Detailed orientation is extremely important
- Able to organize and multitask
- At least 5 years horse experience
