Operates, cleans, maintains, and repairs lift stations and related equipment. Subject to working in confined spaces, exposure to sewer gases, chemicals, and environmental conditions.
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in general labor work.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT(S)
The selected candidate for this position MUST:
- Possess a valid Florida (FL) Class E Driver’s License at the time of application, AND
- Obtain a FL Class C Wastewater Collection Certification within 24 months of hire. (Graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification required to sit for the test.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include (must specify on application):
- Experience working with lift stations,
- Experience with landscaping maintenance,
- Experience working with computers, and
- Experience with mechanical work.
