SUMMARY
The College of the Arts invites applications for a Visiting Instructor of Commercial Music. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in areas such as Pop Rock Lab Ensemble, Jazz Pop Theory, Songwriting, Worship Leadership Practicum, Worship Music Ensemble, Performance Sound and Production, Entrepreneurship in the Arts, Computer Applications in Music, and Applied Lessons. The position requires a strong commitment to the Christian faith, as well as excellence in teaching, scholarly research, and service.

Qualifications:EDUCATION
Doctorate degree in Commercial Music, Music Technology, Music Industry, Contemporary Music, Music Production, Music Education required, or equivalent experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in music production, songwriting, recording, arranging, music entrepreneurship, and/or contemporary worship leadership.
- Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.
- Active engagement in professional organizations (such as NAMM) and/or ongoing creative and scholarly activity.
- Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
- Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
POSITION DETAILS
The position is a full-time position, with a teaching load of 4 courses per semester.
